Two trucks, 120 staff, one very good breakfast
Toolbox meeting catering in Melbourne

A toolbox talk lasts five to ten minutes. Getting a whole crew to turn up for it, on time and awake, is the real job.
We know a shortcut, and it comes with wheels, melted cheese and a coffee machine. For S&A Stairs, in their brand new Clayton warehouse, we parked two trucks, Toasta and our sister truck Round the Way, and fed 120 people before the talk began. Food, unlimited coffee, a crew in a good mood. The safety message landed on full stomachs.

Why feed the crew before the toolbox talk?
Because a free breakfast beats a reminder email. A hot toastie gives people a reason to show up, and a reason to be glad they did.
The toastie breakfast menu
Breakfast for a working crew needs to be hot, quick and genuinely filling. Every toastie is built on Zeally Bay sourdough, with our three cheese blend and a flick of Maldon sea salt:
Then there is the coffee. It was unlimited, so nobody on the crew had to ration it.
Short meeting, long payoff
WorkSafe WA describes toolbox talks as brief safety meetings, typically five to ten minutes, held before the workday, before a shift or during a break. That is a small window to win a crew's attention, so it pays to make the moment a good one.
The research leans the same way. Economists at the University of Warwick ran experiments with more than 700 people and found that those made happier were around 12% more productive. That was a lab, not a worksite, but the principle travels: people who feel looked after do better work.
How toolbox meeting catering works
- 1Brief us. Site, start time, headcount.

Questions we get about toolbox meeting catering
Can a food truck cater a toolbox meeting?
Yes. The kitchen comes to your site, serves from the truck window and leaves the place tidy. Your site manager just points us at a car park.
Do you supply coffee as well as food?
Yes. Our unlimited coffee package keeps the caffeine flowing for the whole meeting, and it ran all morning at S&A Stairs.
Can you work around our start time?
Yes. Give us your start time and headcount and we plan service around the meeting, not the other way round.
How many people can you feed?
As many as the day needs. We fed 120 crew at S&A Stairs, 150 staff at Kogan over a staggered lunch, 240 guests at lululemon in 90 minutes, and 600 guests in 90 minutes at the Melton City Council Star Awards with two trucks.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes: gluten free, halal, vegan, lactose free and more. Tell us what your crew needs when you enquire.
Do you cater outside Melbourne?
Yes. We cater across Melbourne and right across Victoria, including Ballarat, Bendigo, Daylesford, the Mornington Peninsula, Geelong and the Surf Coast.
How do I get a quote?
